The physical layer of a Controller Area Network (CAN) implementation dictates the cabling types, electrical signal levels, and termination scheme used. We produce both CAN terminators as well as CAN gender changers.

All our CAN terminations are made by soldering the resistors to the rear-side connector pins. After soldering process is finished, the whole assembly is filled with epoxy resin to ensure maximum environmental, mechanical and electrical stability. The terminators are therefore waterproof and have maximum mechanical resistance and stability. The cabling and connector topology can be adjusted to your present application cabling.

DB9 connector (D-SUB)

The most common type in use today is a DB9 connector (D-Sub connector family).

MX80

MX80 is a small waterproof in-line connector used for automotive purposes. They feature a waterproof casing with 2, 3, 4 or 6 in-line connections and can be used for a wide variety of purposes and subsystems, like side view mirrors, indicator lights, small actuator motors etc.

JST (JWPF) connectors

JST connectors, originally designed in the Japan are simple, yet robust electrical connectors used for a wide range of purposes and commonly used for connecting electronics and PCB peripherals. JWPF connectors are used in the automotive industry due to their tight-fitness, a inter-housing lock feature and compact waterproof qualities. They can be produced either in multiple pin arrangements.
